I rented a vehicle for a whole month, which was fine. It was very expensive but ok. Then I rented the same vehicle for an additional week. I returned it a full day early hoping to get the 27 dollars a day back, but instead I received 1.25 cents... I was told I had a special weekly rate and since I turned it in a day early I was charged more? That didn't even make sense! Also the 200 dollar deposit on top of the fees are kind of ridiculous. It was refunded in a timely manner though, it only took 24hrs to be in my account. All in all its an ok option if your in a pinch, hopefully you have alot of money at your disposal because it's kind of pricey. The service at the Burlington Iowa location was good, no problems and pretty fast in and out. I was told at the time of my rental that I was "upgraded" to a bigger car as a favor to me since I had a big family, what he didn't know though is that I was upgraded because progressive insurance gave me a deal! That I was already aware of.. So he lied to me to try and make himself look like he did me some sort of favor.... The worst part though is there rewards program, after a month and a week of straight rental, I got 1 free day?!? Ok.... don't hurt yourself.. will most likely rent from again.
We were surprised and very pleased to receive a free upgrade upon our arrival to pick up a full size car. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was clean, comfortable and safe to drive. Plenty if power for highways, good tires, and a working GPS system!
Staff were pleasant and professional. Ease of check out and return greatly appreciated.
I rented a car from them this past Saturday, it was in great condition, the service was prompt and friendly. I dropped the car off at the Iowa City branch, with not so great of experience. However, the manager from Burlington, stepped right in and took care of the problem. He went far and beyond his duty to make sure I was taken care of. I am back home in Utah, so it was wonderful to have him take care of the inefficient service from their branch in Iowa City. Thank you Burlington Manager!
The Burlington location have always tryed there best to fit you to a car that meets your needs and are very plesant to work with. The cars are nice and in great shape and are always clean.
They were nice. The only thing I think should change is the fact that a person turns the car in nomwhat time as long as it's returned before closing hours we should be fully refunded our deposit money .
