Service was great. Food really hit the spot. Only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars was the cleanliness of the restroom.
Service and management were outstanding for Christmas day. The time we were there there was no complaints at all. Seems like they have a great team that knows how to work together.
The table next to us arrived after us, ate, and left before our food arrived.
Great food and wonderful service. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. (I'm so sorry I don't remember her name!) It looks like they have remodeled a bit and it looks great. Will definitely be back!
Arrived at 1115am. Ordered coffee and juice. Got it 10 minutes later and ordered 2 omelettes. Then waited. At approximately 1150 our server walks by and says our food is next. At 12 we flagged another server down to check on our food. Our server approached, we explained we needed to be someplace at 1230 and questioned the amount of time. Our server checked our ticket and informed us our order had been rung in at 1135, and placed behind a 6 top, and there were only 2 cooks. Stated reduced staff due to the weather. She said she would send a manager over, then brought us to Go boxes. Our food came to the table at 1207. And it was all cold. We waited for a manager until 1215 when we rose to leave.
We have had less than stellar experiences here before, but the server gave appropriate attention, making it bearable. This was not the case today. We were virtually ignored, and everything was blamed on the kitchen. My friend and I both have worked in the industry, so know how it can be. And we rarely complain. Perkins lost a fairly regular customer today.
Omelets are always a great choice at Perkins along with pancakes are the best. Cobb salad yummy. Attentive wait staff. The critical comment is about the restrooms. Dirty and smelly, looks like they never clean them. Should not be that way as lots of families with kids come here and senior citizens too. One of the water faucets was just trickling and was the same the next time I came too.
